Godaddy has a new coupon out that offers $7.99 domain renewals for .com domain names. I know it is not the best we have seen but I haven’t seen any really good Godaddy coupon codes lately and if you need to renew a domain today (like I did) this was the best deal right now.

Today a news release was just issued announcing that eBay plans to acquire GSI. Since GSI Commerce owns PepperJam Network this will not only give eBay an ecommerce platform to compete with Amazon but also with other affiliate networks. This could have a huge impact on the affiliate world as it would position eBay to be one of the power players and compete with Google Affiliate Network, Commission Junction, Linkshare, and ShareASale. With eBay’s big pockets and vast resources this will defiantly a good match up for Google who recently purchased Performics a few years ago. This purchase helped Google get a large share of the CPA market. This will definitely be something to watch.

Today is a historic day for GSI Commerce. A news release was just issued announcing that eBay plans to acquire GSI.

I just got a domain renewed for $6.04 (including the ICANN fee).
